Biography

 

Alain Turgeon was born in Quebec City, where he lives and works, to a Quebecois father and a Mexican mother.
With roots in Quebec, Mexico, France and Germany, he grew up at the confluence of cultures
Mexican and French. From his youth, in Quebec, he was introduced to photography.
He traveled to Europe, the Maghreb, the Holy Land, the United States and Mexico where he completed his apprenticeship.

Back in Quebec, he completed his training as a jeweler and worked in this profession there for several years.
From 1988 to 1992, he completed his studies in Visual Arts at Laval University and in 1992 he received the prize
of the competition for graduates in Visual Arts at the Engramme print center.
In 1999, he completed technical training in computer graphics.

His works are part of the collections of the Bibliothèque Nationale du Québec and
from the Art Library of Quebec City as well as numerous private collections.

Continue the creative adventure by expressing myself with my usual vocabulary,
drawing, painting, photography, jewelry in order and disorder.
